• after the war
The Battle of Hogwarts took place just months ago and with it, the end of Voldemort's second reign of terror. Magical creatures are scarcely found around the United Kingdom and Muggleborns are nearly depleted in numbers. Purebloods are almost just as bad off, as it would seem Halfbloods survived the best in odds.

After much debate with the new Ministry of Magic, new classes have been added and some old ones removed. The school has finally reopened after months of rebuilding, and students will return to hopefully rekindle the magical school to its former glory. Hogwarts will never be the same again, or will it? The new generation of students have arrived. The year 1998 will hopefully be a better year than the past few.

Aidan Turner

COMPLETED PROFILE: Aidan Maximilian Turner

PREFERRED OCCUPATION: Headmaster of Hogwarts

1. With a minimum of 100 words, how would you describe yourself?

Well I'd like to think I'm helpful and nurturing to kids. I was a Healer for years now so my experience with children (particularly the injured and ill) is quite extended. I've been told I'm much more patient than I ought to be in my job. I am allergic to fish and pickles oddly enough. I have always been a picky eater, but I enjoy a hearty meal from time to time, particularly around the holidays. I am not much of a drinker and you'll hardly ever see me just lounging about. I am a very productive man and I believe every second of every day needs productivity, not laziness. I would say I'm optimistic about the future and I dearly love my nephews and niece. I'm not so fond of muggles after the incident with my brother's wife, but I do tolerate them and I don't really classify all muggles as the same. I'm just not initially agreeable to them.

2. When are you more alert; morning or night?

3. Would you consider yourself as a quiet, calm person or an active person?

Quiet, Calm person. Really.

4. What were you like as a child and teen?

A prankster you could say, but overall as a teenager I became thoughtful and really put my effort into studying. I wanted to be a Healer, and my grades had to reflect that desire in my mind.

5. What is your idea of a dream job here at Hogwarts? What would you do in that job? How much would you make? (Be very specific and detailed here)

To be the Headmaster. I would oversee the children and make sure that they are happy and learning to the best of their abilities. For pay? Well I made enough that I'm living quite comfortably, so whatever my pay would be is fine.

6. You're stranded on an island with no magical or muggle means to get out; what do you do?

Start a fire immediately to keep warm. I'd probably worry about shelter and food. There's no sense in panicking just yet, but I probably would after all that is taken care of. If there are no means to get out, I'll have to figure one out myself.

7. Would you ever consider putting your life on the line for your work?

Definitely. There is a lot to risk with children being in danger, so my life is not as valuable in concern to theirs. I did flee during the first war, but my mind has changed since I had a niece and nephews.

8. What do you think of the Battle of Hogwarts and the history of Voldemort's second reign?

I was quite alive during the first reign, so the second reign was just about the same to me. Terrible things happened to both magnificent and terrible people. I wouldn't wish the experience of living through it on anyone. Our children never need to witness the horrors of war now that we are out of the second reign at last.

9. What do you think of students?

Students are jewels. They hold the most precious values of our country. They are our future leaders and hopes. Each child is different and could hold the key to a new future.

10. What subject at Hogwarts is your favorite?

I would say from when I went to Hogwarts? Potions.

You have been accepted as HEADMASTER. Now you're a few steps away from finally being able to be the wizard/witch you were supposed to be. All you have to do is complete the following and you're good to go:
